Guidelines for Authors


Here you can find some information for your presentation to be delivered at the XII IAEG Congress, Torino 2014. If you your presentation will be delivered by another author, please forward this information to the presenting author. Please note that some minor modification in the scheduling might have occurred. Check in the online program http://www.iaeg.info/iaeg2014/program/ to verify the date, time and room of your presentation.

Oral Presentations
Please note that in each Congress room there is a dedicated computer. We suggest to upload (via USB key) your presentation during the break time between oral slots. For authors presenting in the Slot 1 (8:40-10:10), please upload your presentation at least 20 minutes in advance before the start of the slot, in order to avoid delays.  The operating system installed in all the a available computers is Windows 7, and available software are MS Office 2013 (Word, Power Point, Excel), Adobe Reader, 7zip, and Windows Media Player. Presentations should be either in .pptx or .ppt format for Power Point (2007 or later) files and PDF for Adobe Reader. Computers are connected to the Internet. Video-projector resolution is 1024x768 (4:3). Note: For authors willing to use their laptop for the presentation, please note that the connector to the projector is VGA (DB9). Please check if your laptop or mac is compatible to this standard, otherwise please bring your own adaptor.

Poster Presentations
Please check the display time, the attendance time, and the number of the panel assigned in the online program. Poster boards are in portrait format with a dimension of 90 cm width x 110 cm height. All the material necessary for attaching the poster to the board will be available at the Facility Desks in the respective poster area. In addition, there will be assistants to help authors in putting up or in taking down their posters.
