How to Reach the Lingotto Conference Center - 8Gallery Commercial Centre - Brief History of Lingotto

Lingotto is both a futuristic multifunctional centre and a most peculiar structure, providing a host of opportunities for activities and many facilities and exhibition areas. At Lingotto one can breathe History as it is an exceptional post-industrial monument. Moreover, it provides a user-friendly environment surrounded by rare natural attractions. It also offers the most up to date structures and services, the best technical and technological equipment, functionality and comfort.

Lingotto Conference Centre was opened in 1994. Its structure was expressly designed as a congress venue providing organizational and technical support for any kind of user. A control room, supervising electrical and electronic safety and air conditioning systems, constantly monitors the whole facility.

Lingotto is a versatile facility. Its conference centre is rounded out by an impressive fair complex ( more than 60000 square metres exhibition areas),  the NH Lingotto and NH Tech hotels, a multiplex, the "8Gallery" shopping mall, many refreshment areas and restaurants and a car park with 5000 places.

In September 2002 the Giovanni and Marella Agnelli Picture Gallery was inaugurated; the permanent collection is hosted inside the Casket, where one can admire works by Tiepolo, Canaletto, Canova, Manet, Renoir, Matisse, Balla, Severini, Picasso and Modigliani..
